By far the most impressive GoPro I have ever owned. The 20MP camera functionality makes this great to bring to my kids sporting events and the 14.7MP frame grabs have been fun to pull out of the videos. I love the front screen and plan on buying a housing for any rugged activities. I have been playing around with the “Hindsight” feature (captures something like 30 seconds before you hit the button) at my kids baseball game which is really cool because I don’t need to record the whole game to find a good action shot or miss a spectacular play. By far one of the sweetest options. I am really looking forward to testing this out in the cold being it has a bigger battery than my HERO8. It is a little heavier than my HERO8, but I think the trade off is worth it for sure with the 20MP pictures and all the updates and battery life. Looking forward to getting some great video and pictures before winter.

I am a huge fan if DJI products. I own the Mavic 2, the Osmo Mobile 3, the Osmo Pocket, and now the Pocket 2. I was especially satisfied with the Osmo Pocket, and the Osmo Pocket 2 is very similar but with some additions that I really like. Among those additions is a larger sensor that allows for better filming in low light, a wider image that is especially useful for selfish shots, and… probably the coolest for my purposes… is the zoom capability, which is something that was missing from the Osmo Pocket.

I love this camera. It is so portable, very well made, and it takes incredible colorful pictures. If you have previously owned Canon products, it is so easy to use as the controls and user interface are uniform throughout their different cameras; this makes it easy to find the different settings and the learning curve is quick (my previous camera was a Canon PowerShot G9x). Most people that have given bad reviews have mainly complained about the focus when shooting video. I updated the camera with the last firmware from December 2019 and it seems to have resolved this issue. But I’ll be honest, I don’t shoot a lot of videos, I mainly use the camera to take pictures and for that I am very pleased with this great camera. I just took it on a two-month trip with my family and it’s great for capturing landscapes, indoor settings, macro shots, portraits, fast-action shots, etc. I just love playing with it and I am very impressed by the results. The battery lasts a long time too; I never had any issues with running out of battery, even on long days shooting. And after a day of shooting, it is so quick and easy to upload the photos to your phone through their app. Overall, it’s a great camera.

Without question the best bridge camera I’ve ever owned or used. The 1-inch sensor definitely makes the difference. The lens is really high quality, and the zoom range is good. Of course you shouldn’t expect DSLR-quality images from this camera, but you can get images from this camera that’ll look close to images you get from a DSLR. The camera feels good in your hands and feels really sturdy. The burst rate is pretty good, and the image stabilization is superb. The camera shoots 4K video, and you’re able to pull high-quality stills from video footage. The articulating LCD screen is really nice and allows you to use the camera in different positions without having to get low or high yourself. If you’re looking for a great bridge camera or a great camera in general, you should seriously consider the FZ1000.

I bought this as a stopgap while waiting for the new A7, but I have been thoroughly impressed. Only using it for video at the moment, but it works so well in that manner for a small camera. Battery life is ridiculously long. I bought 4 batteries, I have never taken the original one out, it just never runs out on a shoot. Video quality is great, but I output to a Ninja V so I am recording outside of the camera. Very impressive little camera, do I really need a A7s III?

As a pro camera user (Sony A7RII and A7Sii) with a number prime lenses, I never take those cameras with me to dinner parties, or travel with them. They are perfect for set up lighting shoots or other event environments, but they are bulky and impractical in so many ways. And they would kill me on a hike. This little RX100 V is the best little pocket camera I have ever used, period. It’s a pro mini. While it has only a 1″ sensor it still has dramatic range like a big boy (in fact no other camera this size has 12 stops), color richness and great depth of field (f/1.8). Yeah it’s not king in low light but not bad. And some issues with clipping of highlights, but shoot in RAW and fix these issues later in Photoshop or Lightroom.

The Blackmagic camera is a must get camera for any aspiring filmmakers. The Blackmagic allows you to shoot in many different types of video quality ranging from 1080p to 6k. The picture quality is simply sensational. It’s very easy to use and surprisingly light for its size. The battery life is good and if you want a longer battery life, I bought dummy batteries that can quickly be switched. It’s so easy to use and would definitely recommend it to any new videographers!

I love my Gh5. It’s made a lot of great videos and it’s made me a LOT of money over the years. My only gripe was the M4/3 format for several reasons. This camera does everything the Gh5 did so well and so much more. Although I have many cameras for various situations, if you can only afford one camera, this would be a great choice for video and photo.

First and foremost, while the X-T3 can do 4K video, it cannot do at 60fps, which at the time it came out most PHONES already had, so to me, that was the BIGGEST bummer. Not only can the X-T4 do video at all the specs you want, but the video auto-focus is vastly improved. It is still not as smooth and accurate as the best that Sony can offer, such as the a7iii, but it is still a big leg up where I feel Fujifilm can hold its own. It’s super fast, but perhaps since it is so fast it sometimes is jarring, and sometimes is like a cartoon it does it so fast that it overshoots and then has to pump on the brakes and double back.

Incredible camera. I upgraded from the A7iii and I am amazed by the picture quality and the ability to crop the photos and still retain the resolution. I took it on a recent trip to Key West for a wild dolphins watch. I am so glad I brought the A7riv with me. I was able to take some amazing pics of the dolphins from far away using the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 and then crop in. The focus tracking works amazingly well as well. Noise is definitely worse than the A7iii in low light situations. But I am willing to live with that with all the other amazing features of the A7Riv.
Considerations for Purchasing a Slow Motion Camera
Slow Motion Frame Rates
The higher the frames per second (fps), the more impressive your slow motion capture will be. For reference, 120fps equates to 4x slow motion, 240fps is 8x slow motion and so on. It’s rare for quality higher than Full HD for slow motion, but as with anything, the higher the video quality, the better.
Size of Camera Sensor
The larger the size of the sensor on the camera you purchase, the better your ability for capturing images in low light. In addition, you’ll have better depth of field abilities as well. Note, the sensor size increases, so does the cost and the size of the camera.
High Rate Frame Modes
